What size do I need?

• Dimensions: All sizes listed are internal measurements (LxWxH), and are in mm.

• Product Space: The strength of the box comes from the perfect fit. Try to make sure there is no more than 10mm of air gap around product.

(Don't fear, if you've got a void, we've got packing materials available to balance it out.)

• The Board: Our boxes are on E (1.5mm) or B (3.5mm) grade corrugated flute board based on size and strength requirements.

Printed options

There are 3 main printing processes used.

1. Digital (flatbed): Great for small quantities, flatbed digital printing is CMYK process(or more mid colours) printing direct onto cardboard or other medium.

2. Lithographic: For a premium finish, a litho printer puts ink onto paper or thin card stock, that is then laminated to corrugated board or die-cut as is. The result is a high quality finish. Larger quantities are required to be economical.

3. Flexographic: A glorified rubber stamp, the flexo print option is great for large orders with simple print image. Usually 1 colour print.

We can advise you which option is best for your needs.

Digital print confusion

• Board colour makes a difference: Without printing white down first, the colour board you choose will affect the way your colour looks.

On Brown board - Choose BOLD colours.

• Computer vs Print: When creating your art, make sure the document setup is in CMYK, not RGB. This will make sure the image on screen is closer to the final product!
